Paul Coleman

Paul has been writing comedy for many years, but he only started getting paid for it in 2004, when he worked as script editor for Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere. Since then he has continued to write with Peter Kay, some of which is actually used. He created and co-wrote the sketch for the Comic Relief single: ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) as well as co-writing Britain's Got the Pop Factor... and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice for Channel 4, a show that went on to be the highest rated show on the channel in 2008 (despite it being a seminal year for Countdown). Paul has also written for the Brit Awards and twice for The Royal Variety Performance. He co-wrote the award winning sitcom 'Car Share'  for BBC and has scripts in development with ITV, BBC and JellyLegs.
